Abstract: | In ancient Chinese culture, there is a proverb that will help us to understand school principal training “The master leads you to the door, the rest is up to you.” In Chinese we say “師傅領進門、修行在個人" This afternoon I’ll talk to you about my recent research entitled “School Principal Training and Mentor Principal’s Experience Inheritance Model: Taiwan Case Studies”Due to the time constraint, this afternoon I will just briefly summarize my study. This presentation will be divided into three major parts. First, I’ll highlight some of the significant results I have found from the” Case Studies of Mentor Principals in Taiwan”. Secondly, I’ll introduce the” Traditional Model of Principal’s Training in Taiwan”. Finally, I’ll tell you the story of my time in Scranton, during which I have been working to create a ”New Model for Taiwan Principal’s Training”. |
