| Abstract: | 寒山詩是中國古典詩史上著名的禪詩，白唐代以來，即頗受佛教界推崇，屢見稱述。而中晚唐以降，雖已能零星看到幾位文人寫過關乎寒山其人，甚至擬和寒山詩之作，但一直要到北宋的黃庭堅，才累積較豐富的討論。黃庭堅與寒山詩之關係，就其表述形式歸納，包括詩句化用寒山詩，也曾利用書法書寫寒山詩贈人，另外還有些作品是直接評論寒山詩，堪稱相當多元。考究、排比這些作品的撰寫年代及性質，還會發現黃庭堅涉及寒山詩之資料儘管出現甚早，但晚年謫寓戎州時期，對寒山詩顯然情有獨鍾。其所以如此，可對應到他遭遇貶謫逆境之際，頗能接受禪宗思想而以任運隨緣自處的心境；他對寒山詩的評論內容，便是上述思想心境的投影。至於黃庭堅這種深契於寒山詩的思想心境，以及得以深刻地體認寒山詩之價值的媒介、管道，極可能是在遭貶前夕利用丁憂休假的機會，親炙黃龍禪所受的啓引。黃庭堅僅是「個案」，但留下了豐富的討論，其實不妨視同文人與寒山詩關係的一個「縮影」，微而具體，相當值得重視。
Han-Shan's poems had rarely been discussed before Huang Ting-Jian in the Northern Song Dynasty, despite the considerable fame they had gained in the Tang Dynasty. Huang had made allusions to Han-Shan's poems in his own poems, directly commented on Han-Shan's poems, and presented others with these poems in his own handwriting. Able to understand the Zen teachings contained in Han-Shan's poems, he especially expressed his appreciation of them during his banishment in his old age His sympathy with these poems probably resulted from his experience of the Huang-Long Sect of Zen Buddhism on compassionate leave before being banished. |
